Haida Gwaii | Queen Charlotte Islands | Salmon & Halibut Fishing

From Langara Island To Maude Island

Elaine had been going fishing up at Langara on the NW corner of the Charlottes for about 4 years through business associates, but when she wanted her hubby, Phil, to experience fishing the Charlottes, she chose to fish with us. She wanted a smaller and more personal experience which is right up our alley.

Salmon along with nice lings, halibut and snappers like these will always make a well rounded fishing trip.

The first day may of had her doubting her decision with respect to the fishing. The wind was gusting 35 knots, the rain came down sideways and the waves made us look like stumbling drunks. The following day would improve and that’s all that mattered. As her last words to Joule was, “I’ll be back next year”.

Cheers, Elaine & Phil
